TRACK & FIELD 
2021 (Outdoor): Competed in eight outdoor meets for the Bears… set a new personal record and the Pac-12’s 25^th-best time of the season with her 14.63 finish in the 100m hurdles at the Pac-12 Track and Field Championships… reached the conference’s 20^th-best mark of the season in the triple jump with her leap of 11.95m (39-2.5) in the Cal-USC Dual… at the Stanford Invitational, took third place in the long jump with a wind-aided leap of 5.78 (18-11.75)… earned second place in the long jump with her mark of 5.37m (17-7.5) at the Cal Opener vs. Sac State… was named to the 2021 Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2021 (Indoor): Competed in two indoor meets… at the Air Force Collegiate Open, took fourth place in the long jump with a mark of 5.58m (18-3.75)… set a new personal record with her 200m dash time of 28.06 at the Air Force Invitational.

2020: Competed in two events to kick off the 2020 indoor season at the New Mexico Team Invitational…Placed eighth in the women’s long jump with a top leap of 5.58m... Competed at the Don Kirby Invitational… Recorded a personal record in the women’s long jump with a farthest leap of 5.72m to take second in her flight and finish 15^th overall… Competed ar the MPSF Championship… Finished the women’s long jump with a top leap of 5.51m to take 12^th… Also competed in the triple jump finishing 21^st with a leap of 11.24m… Opened the 2020 outdoor season at the Cal Opener… Placed second in the triple jump with a leap of 11.37m.

2019: Recorded personal bests in both the triple jump (11.83m/38-9.75) and long jump (5.98m/19-7.50) at the Big Meet while taking second place in both events… Finished 13th in the triple jump at the Pac-12 Championships with a mark of 11.54m/37-10.50… Collected top three finishes at the Cal Opener (LJ, 100mH), Stanford Invitational (LJ), Big Meet (TJ, LJ) and Brutus Hamilton Invitational (LJ)... Finished 11th in the long jump at the MPSF Championships with a mark of 5.60m/18-4.50… Named to the MPSF All-Academic list… Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention. 

2018: Took 17th place in both the 100m hurdles (14.54) and the long jump (5.74m/18-10) at the Pac-12 Championship as both marks would have been personal bests if not for the fact they were wind-aided... Set a wind-legal personal best in the 100m hurdles at the Cardinal Classic with a time of 14.66... Opened the outdoor season with a third place finish in the long jump and a personal best leap of 5.69m (18-8)... Recorded a 60m Hurdle personal best of 8.93 at the MPSF Championship.

HIGH SCHOOL: CIF North Coast Section long jump champion with a leap of 19-1.75... School record in the 100m hurdles and part of the 4x100m relay team which owns the school mark... Led Acalanes HS to Diablo Valley Athletic League Championships in 2016 and 2017... Team MVP all four years of her high school career... Also competed for Jackrabbits Track Club. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Joy Upshaw and Ken Margerum... Principal Cellist of Acalanes HS Orchestra... Chair of Local Lafayette Youth Commission... Won the 2017 Musicianship Award... Majoring in American studies... Sister Sunny was a member of the Cal track & field team and graduated in 2014... Father (football) and mother (track & field) previously served as assistant coaches at Cal... Mother is in the Masters Track Hall of Fame and holds the American and World Records in her masters track age group... Father was a tw-time All-America at Stanford and was a member of the 1985 Chicago Bears Super Bowl team... Father is also a member of the National College Football Hall of Fame... Grandfather Monte Upshaw was a track & field standout at Cal and is a member of the Cal Athletic Hall of Fame ... Aunt Grace Upshaw is a member of the Cal Athletics Hall of Fame as she was a long jumper who was a multi-time USA champion and a two-time Olympian.
