2019: Ran in five meets for the Bears in 2019… Made his Cal debut at the USF Invitational, finishing 10th with a time of 25:57.4… Recorded a personal best 8K time at the Capital Cross Challenge with a time of 25:06.6… Finished 63rd in the Pac-12 Championships with a time of 25:08.9…. Recorded a 10K mark of 32:13.8 at the NCAA West Region Championships.
2018 (WSU): Competed in five meets for the Cougars during his sophomore campaign… Finished seventh overall at the Inland Empire Championship’s with a time of 24:35 (8k), and placed 13th at the Cougar Classic with a time of 24:48.
2017 (WSU): DID NOT COMPETE
2016 (WSU): Competed in five events for the Cougars in his first season… Recorded a personal best in the mile at the WSU Cougar Invitation with a time of 4:45.54…. Finished 30th at the Sundodger Invitational… Took 61st overall at the Washington Invite… Recorded a PR of 8:43.22 in the 3000m at the UW Indoor Preview… Set a personal best of 15:04.01 in the 5000m at the UW Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned eight varsity letters, including three in cross country, three in track and field, and two in swimming and diving… Competed at state cross country championship… Finished 13th as a junior and fourth as a senior… Placed 23rd at the 2015 Nike BorderClash 17… Competed at the 2016 New Balance Indoor National meet and finished 19th in 2-miles (9:22.12I)… Won 3200m and settled for runner-up in the 1600m with a personal best 4:17.79i at 2016 state 2A Championships.
PERSONAL: Born December 20th, 1997… Son of Randy and Julia Cooper… Graduated from Washington State University with a 3.75 GPA… Earning his M.A. in Cultural Studies of Sport in Education.
