2021: Did not compete… made the 2021 Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2020: Opened the 2020 season at the UW Invitational by competing in two events…Participated in the 800-meters with a time of 2:11.39… Was a part of the women’s distance medley relay team that posted the top time of the day, crossing the line in 11:39.64... Competed at the MPSF Championships…Ran the 800-meters in 2:11.98 to finish 23rd… Ran on the distance medley relay team that placed fifth with a time of 11:26.04.
CROSS COUNTRY
2019: Competed in two races for the Bears in her freshman campaign... Made her collegiate debut at the Capital Cross Challenge, placing 50th in the event at 23:04.7 to help lead the women's team to a second place finish.. Finished 145th at the Santa CLara Bronco Invitational with a time of 22:41.3.
CLUB HONORS: Named semifinalist in the European Youth Championships sub18… German Vice-Champion sub18 in 2018… Recognized as “athlete of the year” in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany in 2018…. German Champion sub20 in 2019
PERSONAL: Born in Frankfurt, Germany… Mother, Uta Tortell, is a veterinarian… Father, Enrique Tortell, practices law… Global studies major… Enjoys traveling, reading and taking pictures.
