Biography

2024: Named to the All-ACC Third Team…Was Cal's third-leading scorer (10 points) and tied as the second-leading goalscorer (4)… started 13 of 15 games played…came up big against arguably Cal's most talented opponent of the season in then-No. 1 Pitt, pouncing on a defensive mistake to score the game-winning goal in a 1-0 upset of the Panthers that also gave Cal its first victory in the ACC…named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week after his goal at Pitt…led Cal in shots (24), shots on goal (14) and (for players with at least 10 shots) shots on goal percentage (.583).

Fall 2023: Earned spots on the All-Pac-12 Second Team and United Soccer Coaches All-Far West Region Third Team…tallied one goal and three assists in his second season at Cal…tied for fourth on the team in scoring with five points…scored the equalizer in a 1-1 draw in the season opener at No. 10 UNC Greensboro…assisted on goals against Dartmouth (4-0 win), at California Baptist (2-1 win) and at Pacific (2-0 win).

Fall 2022: Adimabua was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team after a strong first season as a Golden Bear…against Cal Baptist, he assisted Shoei Honda’s winning goal for the Nigeria native’s first point as a Bear… he netted the gamewinner in a 2-0 victory over San Diego State for his first goal with Cal…Adimabua also scored in the 59th-minute of a 1-1 tie with Oregon State…overall he collected five points (2 goals, 1 assist) to rank third on the team in scoring.
 
Personal/Previous: Majoring in political economy at Cal…previously played at the University of San Francisco…as a freshman in the spring 2021 season, Adimabua – playing for then-USF head coach Leonard Griffin – was named the WCC Freshman of the Year and earned All-WCC honors, after leading the Dons in goals (3), assists (5) and points (11) and playing in all 10 games…he scored the gamewinning goal in a 2-0 result over Santa Clara…Adimabua also led USF in goals (5) and points (11) in the fall 2021 season, when he started all 15 games for the Dons and scored the gamewinner in a 2-1 win over Sacramento State…he was named to the All-WCC First Team for the second straight season and named to the NCAA Division I Men's West Region Second Team.
