Expected to help the Bears on floor and high bar and build upon other events...coaches note him as a talented gymnast.
2011: Competed on floor and parallel bars while appearing in four meets...took third place on parallel bars against Iowa with a season-high 14.650...recorded a 14.200 on floor, his best performance of the season, in the Stanford Open...his score of 14.500 tied him for third on parallel bars in the meet against Oklahoma.
2010: Became a regular in the lineup for floor and parallel bars by the end of the season...notched a 14.550 on the floor in the NCAA Team Qualifiers for a season high...had a season-high 14.850 on parallel bars in the NCAA Team Championships to lead the Bears...was an All-American on the parallel bars as his 14.600 was good for sixth in the NCAA Individual Championships.
2009: All-American on parallel bars...Kerry excelled in his first NCAA outing, grabbing a 14.600 on floor for a career high and he also earned a 14.750 on p-bars to tie for fourth in the qualifier...established a career high of 14.900 on the p-bars during the MPSF Championships...set a season high on the horizontal bars (14.650) during the Gold Country Classic.
Personal: Personal: Was awarded the best sportsmanship award in 2007...earned academic all-American status in 2004...was his region's high bar champion...undeclared major...parents are Jill and William Kerry.

JK: "I love being treated like an adult instead of being treated like a kid in high school."
CalBears.com: What is your favorite part about gymnastics and/or how did you get started in gymnastics?
JK: "I love working hard and accomplishing a difficult skill that takes me a while to learn."
