BERKELEY - On the strength of his career-high 18 rebound performance against Houston Thursday night, Cal sophomore forward Sean Lampley now leads the nation in rebounding with 14.0 per game.

Lampley, who also tied a career-high with 21 points vs. the Cougars, has had a double-double in all three games he has played this season. After missing the Hawaii opener with a hand injury, he had 16 points and 10 rebounds against Eastern Washington then totaled 19 points and 14 rebounds at DePaul.

Lampley is trying to become the first Cal player to average at least 10 rebounds for an entire season since Brian Hendrick averaged 10.7 rpg in 1991-92.
