The Cal men's "Henley eight" will race in the Ladies Plate event at the Henley Royal Regatta in Henley-On-Thames, England, June 30-July 4. Cal's lineup consists of seven oarsmen and a coxswain from the undefeated and IRA national champion JV eight as well Michael Wood, who rowed the four seat in the Bears undefeated and IRA national champion varsity eight.
Competition Schedule: The Henley racing schedule is generated following the completion of racing each day. Due to the limited entries in the Ladies Plate event, the Bears will not begin competition until Friday, July 2.

Cal's Henley History: One of the three greatest moments in the history of Cal rowing took place on Henley-On-Thames racecouse as the Cal varsity eight, representing the United States in the 1948 London Olympic Games, won the Bears third Olympic gold medal under legendary coach Ky Ebright. Since 1948, five Cal eights have raced in the Henley Royal Regatta.
