The Pacific-10 Conference's spring academic teams were announced today. A total of 48 Cal athletes were honored, including 21 selections to the first team. To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average, be a significant contributor to the team and be at least a second-year competitor in the sport at the league school.
