STANFORD, Calif. -
Sophomore Peter Tomasulo led the Cal men's golf team, tying for eighth individually, at the U.S. Intercollegiate held at Stanford Golf Course on April 20-21. The Bears finished 11th as a team with a three-round score of 887 (300-302-285).
USC won the team title (848), followed by Stanford (858), UCLA (862), Oregon (865) and Washington State (870) who rounded out the top-five. Stanford's Philip Rowe captured medalist honors with a 205, five shots better than USC's Kevin Stadler. Washington State's Jon Reehoorn took third individually with a three round total of 211.
The Bears will travel to Corvallis, Oregon, to compete in the Pacific-10 Championships on April 25-27 at the Trysting Tree Golf Club.
