Q: How did you get involved in crew?
A: When I was young, my father and I spent our time bonding
together through aquatic activities. I have always loved being
near or in the water. The public high school that I attended
offered rowing as a sport and I gave it a try.
Q: Why did you choose to come to Cal?
A: I wanted to row and be coached by the best. Cal also has
similar weather to Florida and we can row year round.
Q: At the beginning of the season, what is the one thing you
most look forward to? What is the thing you dread the most?
A: I look forward to racing season and I dread the erg test.
Q: What is your pre-race routine/superstition?
A: I wear my watch that was once my fathers and Gold & Blue
Subaru socks. I usually Pray and eat a banana.
Q: What are the last 3 CD's you bought?
A: White Blood Cells by The White Stripes, Best of the Doobies
by The Doobie Brothers.
Q: If you were stranded on a desert island, who would you
bring with you, and what 3 things would you want to take?
A: My father (the best skipper), Dehumidifier for water, a map
of the near body of water, and a large sailboat that can be
manned by two people.
Q: What is your greatest achievement in crew?
A: Either my silver medal in the Coxed pair at Junior Worlds
in Zagreb, Croatia (U.S.A. 2000) or Junior Varsity National
Champion at IRAs (CAL 2003).
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: Eating, Sleeping, talking with friends.
Q: If you could trade places with anyone (celebrity or not)
who would it be? Why?
A: The Pope, so I could administer my own reformation.
Q: Who/what inspires you?
A: My teammates
Q: What is the one song/type of music that you think should be
banned from the erg room?
A: Anything that is not Classic Rock
