BERKELEY - Oregon coach Jen Larsen commented after her Ducks defeated Cal, 9-8, in the MPSF Championship tournament's third-place game on Friday in Memorial Stadium:

"That was a hard-fought battle with two teams that were really tired and put their hearts on the line. I commend Cal for the really great season that they had, and I'm proud of the Ducks and the way they played today."
