CAL: Cross Country - Collin looks to earn his first letter in cross country in his third season with the Bears...will be looked towards for increased leadership as a co-captain with Chris Coffee.
Track - Has competed on the Cal track and field team for the last three seasons...had a breakout year in 2000...scored a point by finishing eighth (3:50.06) in the 1500m at the Pac-10 Championship...ran a team-best and PR of 1:52.51 in the 800m at the California/Nevada state meet...that 800m time bettered his 1999 PR of 1:55.79.
High School: Competed on the cross country and track and field teams at St. Francis HS. Personal: Born Dec. 22, 1977, in Palo Alto...parents are John and Edith Collin...English major.
