Milano Named U.S. Olympic Committee Coach of the Year

California head baseball coach Bob Milano, who led the 1997 USA Baseball National Team to a 21-13 record and fourth-place finish at the International Baseball Association's XIII Intercontinental Cup this summer, was selected the U.S. Olympic Committee Coach of the Year for baseball, it was announced Aug. 20 by the National Governing Bodies for Olympic and Pan American sports.
