MISSOURI (1998): Was a member of the 1998 Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American Team after batting .311 with 11 doubles, a triple, seven home runs and 30 RBI for the Tigers...became Missouri's starting shortstop 10 games into his freshman season...
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: At Armijo High School in Fairfield, CA, was an All-Montecello Empire League selection in 1997 and was the winner of the Region 8 Gatorade Sportsmanship Award...following his senior year, he helped his American Legion team to a fifth-place national finish at the American Legion World Series in Rapid City, South Dakota...this past summer played for the Santa Barbara Foresters and helped his team to a 7-6 victory over the USA National Team (with Xavier Nady and Mike Tonis) Aug. 8 at the NBC World Series, going 2-for-4 with two RBI...majoring in social welfare...parents are Jerone and Cynthia Williams...born December 6, 1978 in Burlingame, CA.
