HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: At Chatsworth High School, earned all-league and was a first-team All-City catcher as a senior, batting .456 with 40 RBI...helped lead his team to a 22-9 record, a conference title and the semifinals of the city playoffs...also attended the U.S. National Junior Team Trials and played in the Bernie Milligan All-Star Game in the summer of 1997...was an all-league first baseman as a junior and during the summer of 1996 attended the Area Code Games for the Cincinnati Reds...in the summer of 1998 played for Topeka, KS in the Jayhawk League, batting .256 with two doubles, a home run and seven RBI...last summer played for Rochester, MN Honkers of the Northwood League...was recruited by Pepperdine, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge and Tulane before selecting Cal...majoring in development studies...parents are David and Paulette Sark...born September 28, 1979 in Flint, MI.
