CALIFORNIA - Collins enters his fourth season with the Cal track and field team...after seeing limited competition during his first two seasons, emerged as the Bears top 800m runner as a JUNIOR in 2000...took seventh in the 800m at the California/Nevada meet with a PR of 1:52.51...tallied one point with his eighth-place finish in the 1500m (3:50.05) at the Pac-10 meet...clocked his 1500m PR of 3:49.55 at the Mt. SAC Relays...earned first team Academic All-Pac-10 distinction...in 1999 as a SOPHOMORE, ran a then-PR of 1:55.79 in the 800m...has participated on the cross country team for three years and was one of the Bears top runners as a senior.
HIGH SCHOOL - Competed on the track and cross country teams at St. Francis HS.
