CROSS COUNTRY: Also a member of the Bears' cross country team,,mplaced 10th in the four-mile (21:48) at the Berkeley Invitational...turned in a 13th-place finish at the USF Invitational in 21:55.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2001-02: Set Cal's second-best time of the season in the 800m (1:54.05) with a sixth-place finish at the Cal Invitational...held the Golden Bears' third-best season time in the 1500m (3:55.73), set with a seventh-place finish at the Big Meet...placed eighth in the 800m (1:56.10) at the Big Meet and eighth in the 1500m (4:00.25) at the USC Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2001 graduate of Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, CA...was a two-time North Coast Section champion in the 800m...placed eighth in the 800m at the state championships...competed in the state cross country championships three times...PRs included 50.2 (400m), 1:54.2 (800m) and 4:18 (mile).
