CALIFORNIA - Ward is a two-sport star at Cal...has been a cornerback and wide receiver for the Cal football team the last four seasons (redshirt 1998)...missed his sophomore track and field season with an injury...as a FRESHMAN in 2000, ran a PR and Cal's second-fast 100m of the year in 10.64 to win the event at the Big Meet...was a Pac-10 qualifier in the 100m..ran on Cal's 4x100m relay, as well.
HIGH SCHOOL - At Muir HS, he was a multi-talented quarterback who was credited with more than 5000 yards of total offense his final two seasons...an excellent prep sprinter.
