CALIFORNIA - Ramirez begins her first season on the Cal track & field team after being a solid contributor to the Cal cross country team during the fall...competed in six cross country races with a best finish of 24th (20:06) at the Hornet Harrier Classic.
HIGH SCHOOL - Was selected Torrance HS's 2000 Athlete of the Year...two-time MVP of her track & field team...holds the school record in the 800m (2:16.77) despite only running that distance as a senior...finished third in the 800m at the CIF finals...her high school team was the 2000 Ocean League champion in track & field...ran cross country for only a year.
