AS A JUNIOR IN 2001-02: Placed third in the 400mH (1:03.44) at the Big Meet...that mark served as Cal's fourth-best of the season...finished second in the 400mH (1:03.79) at the Brutus Hamilton Memorial Invitational.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2000-2001: Set Cal's third-best time of the season in the 400m (1:00.47) at the Woody Wilson Invitational...finished third in the 400m (59.27) at the Jonny Mathis Invitational.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 1999-2000: Ran a then-PR of 58.59 in the 400m at the Cal Invite and a PR of 1:04.12 in the 400mH at the Bruce Drummond Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: Went to the California state meet in the hurdles for El Cerrito High School...best time in the 300mH was 44.27...also competed on the basketball team for a season.
PERSONAL: Shalonda Makesha Reynolds was born Oct. 22, 1981 in Berkeley, CA...parents are Marvin and Shirley Reynolds...sociology major.
