AT MT. SAC: Pina transferred from Mt. San Antonio Junior College...garnered All-America honors in the 1500m and 5000m...was the state's junior college 1500m champion (3:53.50) and cross country four-mile champion...boasts a best time of 14:27 in the 5000m.
CROSS COUNTRY - Also a member of the cross-country team...finished 59th (26:26) at the 2004 Pac-10 Championships and 103rd (33:30) at the 2004 NCAA West Regional... took 55th at the 2003 Pac-10 Championships (26:49) and 77th in NCAA Regionals (31:43)...
