Men's Golf Team Places 7th at Falcon Invitational
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The Cal men's golf team opened the 1996-97
season with a seventh-place finish at the Falcon-Cross Creek Invitational
Sept. 13-15.
The Bears totaled 898 (+31) over three rounds in the 24-team field.
Nebraska won the tournament with a score of 875 (+11).
Individually, Jay Berkowitz tied for fifth at 219 (+3),
shooting 73-72-74. Other Cal finishers were David Lee at 38th (+9),
Stephen Summers at 44th (+11), Dong Yi at 54th (+13) and Gareth
Davies at 60th (+14).
