Cal Men Tie for Sixth at Pac-10 Golf Championships
EUGENE, Ore. - The Cal men's golf team tied for sixth place with
Washington with a score of 1,484 at the four-day Pacific-10 Conference
championships that finished Wednesday in Eugene, Ore.
Individually, freshman Dong Yi and sophomore Jay Berkowitz tied for
ninth with scores of 291 on the Eugene Country Club course. In addition,
sophomore Gareth Davies tied for 19th (295), senior Stephen Summers was
41st (303), sophomore Dan Arroyo tied for 44th (305) and sophomore Dan
Coyle tied for 50th (312).
Arizona State, which captured the team title by 11 strokes with a score
of 1,445, also had the top two individual finishers.
