Cal Struggles at the Thunderbird Invitatioinal
TEMPE, Ariz. - Edward Loar carded a six-under-par 66 in the
second of Saturday's two rounds at the ASU Thunderbird/Savane Invitational,
taking over first place individually and leading the Oklahoma State
men's golf team to a second-place position with 18 holes to play.
Loar, who holds a one-stroke lead with a seven-under score of 137, is
one of four OSU players among the event's top 16 after 36 holes.
Cal is in 12th place with a score of 599. No Bears player is in the top 16.
The tournament concludes on Sunday with one round.
