Cal Finishes 14th at the Thunderbird Invitational
TEMPE, Ariz. - The California men's golf team finished in 14th place at the ASU Thunderbird/Savana Invitational on April 19-20 at ASU's Karsten Golf Course. The Bears shot a team score of 894 (+30), 40 strokes off of first-place Arizona State.
Leading golfer for the Bears was sophomore Dan Coyle, who tied for 31st overall while shooting a 222 (+6). Freshman Dong Yi also played well, tying for 35th with a stroke total of 223 (+7).
Next up for the Bears is the 30th Annual U.S. Intercollegiate hosted by Stanford on April 25-26.
