Bears Take Third at Nebraska Invitational
LINCOLN, Neb. -- The California Golden Bears women's gymnastics
team took third (191.500) in the four team Nebraska Invitational Sunday.
Nebraska won the meet with 196.625 points while Arizona State, which defeated Cal Friday, finished second with 195.600. Eastern Michigan rounded out the team scoring with 188.675 points.
Mindy Ornellas led Cal with a floor score of 9.900 while Leila Khoury was the Bear's top all-around performer with 38.675 points.
The Bears will return to the mat March 8 when they travel to San Jose State at 7 p.m.
