Cal Finishes Sixth in NCAA West Region

BOISE, Idaho - The California women's gymnastics team finished sixth in the all-around competition Saturday at the 1997 West Region Championship at BSU Pavilion.

Cal finished with a team score of 193.050. UCLA took first place with a total score of 196.300. Washington was second (195.725) and Oregon State was third (195.075).

The Bears' top individual finisher was Leila Khoury, two finished tied for 15th with an all-around score of 38.125. She scored a 9.5 on vault, 9.75 on bars, 9.15 on beam and 9.725 on the floor.
