CAL WATER POLO: A driver on Cal's 2004 team.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Leland High School...a six-time All-American who competed in the 200 IM at the 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials...best times in the 200 IM (1:49.71) and 500 freestyle (4:28.08) would have ranked fifth and third, respectively, on last season's Cal team...two-time San Jose Mercury News Swimmer of the Year...also a two-time All-American and two-time BVAL Player of the Year in water polo...scored a 144 goals as a senior...helped his team finish second in the 2004 Central Coast Section championship...was a member of the Lamorinda Water Polo Club that won gold at the 2004 20-Under National Championship.
