JUNIOR IN 2002-03: Finished sixth in the 50 free (19.67) at the 2003 NCAA Championships...swam the fourth-fastest time in the country in the 50 free at 19.41...also a member of the Volunteers' 400 free relay that finished 11th (2:56.77) at the NCAAs...placed second in the 50 free (19.59) at the 2003 SEC Championships...helped Tennessee's 200 free relay to a third-place finish (1:19.28) at the SEC meet.

SOPHOMORE IN 2001-02: Earned four All-America honors at the NCAA Championships and placed 12th in the 50 free with a time of 19.95...was a member of the fifth-place 200 medley relay team at the NCAAs...took top honors at the SEC Championships in the 50 free with a personal-best time of 19.63...finished third in dual-meet scoring with 85 points and five individual wins.

FRESHMAN IN 2000-01: Was a member of national champion 200 medley relay (1:24.75) and 400 free relay (2:53.67) teams at the 2001 NCAA Championships...swam a 49.42 in the 100 fly at the SEC Championships, as well as career bests in the 50 free (19.75) and 100 free (43.19).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 1998 graduate of Princess Isabel in Rio de Janiero, Brazil...boasted times of 23.44 in the 50 free (lcm) and 51.70 in the 100 free (lcm)...was the junior national champion and record-holder in the 100 free...was a two-time junior national champion in the 50 free...was a senior national champion in the 50 fly...placed fourth in the 50 free at the 1998 World Cup...was part of the South American record-breaking 200 medley relay squad in 1998.
