Women's Volleyball Falls to USC

BERKELEY, Calif. -- The California Golden Bears were defeated by the USC women's volleyball team Friday night in Berkeley. The No. 8 ranked Trojans cruised to a three game win, 15-7, 15-5, 15-5. USC improves to 17-3 overall, 9-3 in the Pac-10. Cal drops to 7-14, 2-10 in the Pac 10.

Jessica Dinaberg led the way for the Bears with 14 kills and 8 digs as the Bears hit just .075 for the match. USC was led by the dual 12 kill efforts of Jasmina Marinkovic and Jennifer Kessy. The Trojans hit .304 for the day, blocked 11 shots and had 14 attack errors.

The Bears play host to UCLA on Saturday at the RSF Fieldhouse.
