Cal is Swept by 16th Ranked Washington

BERKELEY, Calif. - The No. 16th ranked Washington Huskies swept the University of California women's volleyball team Saturday, 15-11, 15-11 and 15-7, at the RSF Fieldhouse. The loss drops the Bears to 8-18 overall, 3-14 in the Pac 10. Washington improves to 16-9, 11-5 in conference play.

The Bears were led by Jessica Dinaberg's match high 14 kills. However, the Bears hit just .089 for the game, were outblocked 13 to six and had trouble getting started offensively.

The Huskies were led by the duo of Makare Desilets (12 kills and five digs) and Leslie Tuiasosopo (10 kills). Washington hit .190 and was outdug by the Bears, 50-38.
