A senior freestyler from Los Altos, CA...as a junior (1997) developed into
one of Cal's leading freestyle sprinters...was a member of the Bears top
200 free relay and had the team's third-best time in the 50 free (23.71,
NCAA consideration standard)...had four career-bests during the season--50
free (by five tenths of a second, 23.71), 100 free (by 1.7 seconds, 52.37),
100 back (by 1.0 second, 58.08) and 200 free (by 3.0 seconds)...was a
member of the 200 free relay (23.35) and anchored the 200 medley relay
(23.30 split) which both placed fourth at the Pac-10
Championship...individually, scored at the Pac-10 meet by placing 15th in
the 100 back and 17th in the 50 free...is a gifted vocalist who has sung
the national anthem at numerous Cal events, as well as Pac-10 sporting
events and Nascar automoblie races...competed this past summer at the USS
Summer Senior Nationals in Nashville, TN...at Foothill Junior College
(1996) was a five-time Community College All-American in swimming...also
competed on the DeAnza Junior College men's water polo team in the fall of
1995...at Dartmouth (1995) was a four-time finalist in the freestyle events
at the 1995 Eastern Conference Championships...in the summer of 1995, was a
member of DeAnza Cupertino Aquatics club team which won the the women's
team title at the Junior National Meet...at Saint Francis High School was a
three-time team MVP, leading her squad to the 1994 Central Coast Section
championship...club coach is Pete Raykovich of the DeAnza Cupertino
