A junior IMer from Boulder City, NV...as a sophomore (1997) was the first alternate for the NCAA Championship in the 200 IM...swam a career-best 2:02.69 in the 200 IM (NCAA consideration standard, seventh-best all-time Cal mark) at the Pac-10 Championship, placing ninth...also placed ninth at the Pac-10 meet with a career-best 4:21.35 in the 400 IM (NCAA consideration standard)...scored at the Pac-10's in the 200 fly (15th, career-best 2:04.90), as well...all three of her career-best times came at the '97 Pac-10 Championship...was part of the Bears 1-2-3 finish in the 400 IM versus UCLA to help seal the 150.5-149.5 victory Feb. 1...a versatile swimmer who can swim any event needed in a dual meet, including the 500 free (5:03.00 Jan. 25 at Arizona State)...was the winner of both the Gold Medalion and Golden Bear Awards (voted by team) for dedication, perseverance and team spirit...during this past summer competed in the 200 and 400-meter IM at the USS Summer Senior Nationals in Nashville, TN...as a freshman (1996) had the team's second-best time in the 200 IM (2:03.75)...made the NCAA consideration standard in both the 200 and 400 (4:25.41) IM and was the first alternate for the NCAA meet in the 200 IM...had personal best times in nine different events...scored points at the Pac-10 meet in the 400 IM (17th) and 200 breast (19th)...during the summer of 1996 competed at the USS Summer Senior Nationals in Ft.
