Alyse Clayman Bio - The University of California Official Athletic Site

Alyse Clayman, an All-American goalkeeper from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, begins her first season with the Bears in 2002.

With Clayman fortifying the net in goal at Williams College, the Ephs won three conference championships and co-owned the Division III national title in 1996. That same year, Clayman served as captain of the Williams team, was named league MVP, Division III Goalie of the Year and a Brine/USWLA first team All-American.

Before moving to Berkeley to pursue her master's degree in social work, Clayman worked as vice principal at the Seneca Center school in San Leandro. Before that, she performed AIDS crisis work in East Africa.
