FRESHMAN in 2001-02: Helped score points for Cal in the breaststroke and individual medley events at the Pac-10 Championships...owned Cal's second-best time in the 200 breast (2:18.51)...also had the Bears' third-best time in the 400 IM (4:19.60).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2001 graduate of Clayton Valley High School...was a four-time swimming All-American and was the North Coast Section champion in the 100 breast in 1998 and 1999...in 1998, placed third at the U.S. Open in the 200 breast...in 1999, was a member of the national junior team that traveled to Barcelona, Spain and in 2000, competed at World Cups in Paris and Imperia, placing third in the 400 IM...also competed in high school water polo as a senior...was a Scholastic All-American.
