Great futures start at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland, where local youth find safe places to learn and grow.
Gilead, a Bay Area biotechnology company, is once again teaming up with UC Berkeley to continue supporting the Boys and Girls Club of Oakland throughout this challenging year. Each year Gilead has donated $1,000 for every Bears touchdown as Gilead and the Boys and Girls Club of Oakland continue our Playing For The Future partnership. In addition, Gilead will continue to donate $50 to the Boys and Girls Club for every Bears assist! These donations help sponsor the kids and their activities at the Clubs for the entire year – including critical mentoring and leadership development programs.
This season, the Bears' touchdowns and assists don't just lead to points on the board - they're a meaningful investment in tomorrow's leaders.
