AS A SENIOR (2018):

• Made 16 appearances (one start) in his final season in Berkeley and pitched 18 innings.
• Finished the season 0-2 with a 5.50 ERA.
• Allowed just one run over his final four outings against Stanford, BYU and USC (x2).
• Needed just 11 pitches to work a clean inning at Stanford on April 27.
• Made 50 appearances as a Golden Bear and compiled a 3-2 record and 4.85 ERA in 55.2 career innings pitched.

AS A JUNIOR (2017):

• Made his return to the Cal pitching staff as a sidearmer and made a major impact, going 3-0 with a 3.91 ERA in a team-high 25 appearances
• Returned to action on March 3 against Gonzaga and retired the only man he faced
• Did not allow a run in his first five appearances of the season
• Allowed just three earned runs over his final 10 appearances of the year
• Held opponents to a .141 batting average
• First collegiate win came on April 22 against USC. Pitched a scoreless inning in a 9-8 victory over the Trojans
• Got his second win the next day, again pitching a scoreless frame in an 8-6 victory over USC

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2016):

• Did not play

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015):

• Did not play

AS A FRESHMAN (2014):

• Was 0-0 with a 5.84 ERA and a save
• Earned save April 13 at Arizona State, pitching the 10th inning
• Had two strikeouts in 2.2 innings March 4 vs. Stanford

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:

• As a junior at De La Salle High School went 5-2 with a 1.71 ERA, two complete games and 53 strikeouts
• Only allowed five extra base hits in 31 hits allowed and had a .187 opponent batting average in 2012
• Had a complete game win in the 2012 North Coast Section title game with 10 strikeouts
• Was a high school teammate with sophomore catcher Mitchell Kranson
• Was a starting wide receiver and safety, as well as handler of the punting and punt returning duties on state champion De La Salle
• Led team in receiving (33 receptions for 591 yards and seven touchdowns) and interceptions (six with 43 tackles) during 2012 season
• Parents are Scott and Kriste Buckley
• Born January 18, 1995 in Concord, Calif.
