Fall 2021: Redshirted...named to the Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll.

Spring 2021: Reserve forward scored one of Cal’s biggest goals of the season to cap a back and forth game at San Diego State, as the Bears prevailed 3-2 in their first win of the season…Samimi scored in the 81st minute and also assisted on Fahmi Ibrahim’s goal in the 34th minute at SDSU.

2019: Started the first six games of his freshman season and played another 11 games as a substitute…recorded his first college goal and first college assist in the third game of his Cal career, a 3-0 win at UC Santa Barbara on Sept. 7…first against the Gauchos, Samimi combined with Alonzo Del Mundo to set up Simon Lekressner’s goal just 45 seconds into the game…Samimi’s 14th-minute goal gave Cal a 2-0 lead over UCSB.

Personal/Previous: Media studies major...graduated from The Bishop's School in La Jolla, Calif. a year early...played for Albion SC...member of the U16 Boys National Team and U18 Men's National Team...selected to the Dallas Cup All-Star Team..three-star recruit by Top Drawer Soccer.
