HIGH SCHOOL: All-American in 200-yard freestyle...his time of 1:41.86 ranked 54th among boys' public high schools...took 51st (8:42.91) in the 800-meter free, 50th (16:45.39) in the 1500 free and 47th (1:58.61) in the 200 free at U.S. Junior Nationals last August...led off his North Coast Aquatics club's 200 free relay (26th in 1:40.37) and 800 free relay (8:04.33) at Junior Nationals...also played water polo.

PERSONAL: Integrative biology major...parents are Terry and Lisa Rodman...born on June 28, 1987, in La Jolla, Calif.
