2018: Did not compete. 

2017: Took fifth place in the 400m at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge with a season-best time of 56.02 while also helping the 4x100m relay team to a first place finish and the 4x400m relay team to second... Took third in the 200m at the Brutus Hamilton Open with a season-best time of 24.95... Helped the 4x100m relay team to a first place finish at The Big Meet with a time of 45.99... Took 19th at the MPSF Indoor Championship with a 400m time of 56.39... Took sixth in the 400m with a time of 56.45 at the Husky Classic. 

2016: Member of Cal’s 4x100m relay that finished seventh at the Pac-12 Championships … individually, was 22nd in the 400m (58.62) … season best in the 400m came at the Sac State Invitational (56.39) … during the indoor season, was part of Cal’s eighth-place 4x400m relay … also 22nd in the 400m (56.32).

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Eleanor Roosevelt HS in Eastvale...besides competing, served as Vice President of the Black Student Union
 
PERSONAL: Born 8/1/97...parents are Craig Smith and Joyce Hegeman...has three other siblings, all brothers...enjoys poetry away from the track
