Serves as a member of the U.S. swimming coaching staff … participating in her fourth Olympics, including as head women’s coach in 2012 (the only woman ever to hold the position for Team USA) and as an assistant in 2004 and 2008 … been head coach of the U.S. team at the Pac Pacific Championships twice and was head coach of the U.S. squad at the 2012 World Short-Course Championships …. also a seven-time assistant for the United States at the World Championships … heads into her 30th season as Cal’s head women’s swimming & diving coach in 2021-22 … has led the Bears to four NCAA and five Pac-12 team championships … swimmers she has coached have won 36 Olympic medals entering the Tokyo Games.
