Tim Feaster

Tim Feaster is in the second season of his second stint at Cal in 2020 and currently in the role as Cal football's Director of Equipment. Feaster comes to Berkeley after serving as an assistant equipment manager for the Oakland Raiders from 2015-19.

While with the Raiders, Feaster oversaw all helmet and shoulder pad fitting, ordering, maintenance and assembly. He was also in charge of defensive practice needs like setting up and running drills.  

Prior to his time with the Raiders, Feaster worked for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2015 as an Associate Area Scout based out of the Bay Area. His responsibilities included attending collegiate and high school games to scout and evaluate draft-eligible players.

Feaster originally worked at Cal as an Olympic Sports Operations Intern from 2014-15, primarily with Cal baseball. He assisted the operations staff and coaches with athletic event planning, execution and support, in addition to aiding budget development and management. He also provided the coaching staff with weekly scouting report information while operating the PitchFX video system for all home games.

Before coming to Cal, Feaster worked at Coaches Aid Inc. (Amateur Sports Broadcast Network) as a marketing and sales executive. 

Feaster coached at Chico High School as the varsity offensive coordinator and defensive backs coach from 2012-13. 

He was a four-year letterwinner safety at Kansas Wesleyan University from 2007-10, winning the Sport Management Student of the Year Award in 2010. He graduated with a degree in sport management and later earned a masters of arts in sport management from the University of San Francisco in 2015.
