BERKELEY - Senior Megan Sainsbury scored twice and assisted on two other goals as the California field hockey team beat Pacific 7-1 Friday at Kleeberger Field.

The Bears (9-4, 4-0 NorPac) dominated the Wildcats, outshooting them 29-4 inside the circle. Cal ran out to a 5-0 lead at halftime on the strength of goals from Sainsbury (2), Amber Stockstill, Lieke Zoete and Kelli Mirassou.

Cal stays home at Kleeberger to host an alumnae exhibition Oct. 16 at 1 p.m., followed by a game with Simon Fraser Oct. 17 at 10 a.m.
