No. 16 Field Hockey Beats SW Missouri State, 5-0

STANFORD - Amber Stockstill scored one goal and assisted on another to lead the 16th-ranked Cal field hockey team to a 5-0 rout of Southwest Missouri State in the semifinals of the NorPac Conference Tournament Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Bears improve to 11-4 overall and advance to play the Stanford-Pacific winner in Sunday's title game.
Senior Sara Baron opened the scoring early with an unassisted goal less than eight minutes into the game. Late in the first half, Cal scored twice with in a six-minute span to go ahead, 3-0, on goals by Kelli Mirassou and Stockstill.
The Bears kept up their assault in the second half on scores by Liz Harkins and Megan Sainsbury. Goalkeepers Emily Rowlen and Sarah Hoehn combined for Cal's sixth shutout of the year.
