Marietta, GA - No. 3 California Golden Bears swept through the Georgia Tech Buzz Classic, winning all seven games to bring home the tournament title. The Bears advanced to the title game after defeating Mercer, 3-2, and No. 21 Wisconsin, 4-0, on Saturday, and then dropping Georgia State, 4-1, and North Carolina, 8-0, before defeating Harvard for the second time in the tournament in the title game, 8-0, on Sunday afternoon.

Junior Jocelyn Forest earned the last two wins on Sunday, including her first career perfect game versus Harvard in the championship game. On the day, Forest had 18 strikeouts on her way to earning her 20th win on the year, in addition to defeating No. 21 Wisconsin on Saturday and North Carolina earlier in the day on Sunday.

Cal begins Pac-10 play this weekend when it hosts Washington on Friday at 2 p.m. and UCLA on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
