Washington, D.C. - The Cal Bears (8-3, 4-1) road another strong performance from sophomore attacker Emily Edwards en route to a non conference 10-5 win over the George Washington Colonials (3-5, 0-2), Saturday afternoon in Washington D.C. Edwards notched her fifth hat trick of the year while senior attacker Sarah Wheatley added a triple of her own.

The Bears and Colonials battled back and forth in the first half, with Cal taking an early 2-0 lead in the first three minutes behind goals from senior attacker Laura Kado and Wheatley. But GW would answer back, scoring two-straight goals to tie the game, 2-2.
