Final Stats

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - First-half penalty-corner goals by forward Valentina Godfrid and midfielder Chilly Banuelos lifted the California field hockey team to a 2-0 victory against Saint Louis on Sunday at Plaster Field on the campus of Southwest Missouri State.

Godfrid's goal, her seventh of the year, came on a penalty corner at the 11 minute, 18 second mark. Banuelos' goal, her first as a Bear, also came on a penalty corner, at 26:43.

Sunday's match concluded a 3-1 road trip for Cal (7-2, 1-1 NorPac West). The Bears return home this week, hosting Drexel at 3 p.m. on Thursday and Pacific on Saturday at 1 p.m. Both matches are at Maxwell Family Field.
