FULLERTON, Calif. - No. 7 California kept its undefeated record intact on Friday, defeating Cal State Fullerton, 1-0, in Fullerton at the SoccerTown Classic. California moves to a perfect 5-0, while Fullerton drops to 0-4-1.

The Golden Bears' lone goal came courtesy of junior forward Pieter Berger. Senior forward Carl Acosta saw his shot in the 36th minute blocked by Titans goalkeeper Sam Reynolds, but Berger was there to slot home the rebound from 15 yards out.

The goal was Berger's third of the year. Cal keeper Eric Kronberg recorded one save in the second half to earn the shutout. The Bears haven't allowed a goal in four games, outscoring opponents 10-1 on the season.

The Bears next face the UC Irvine Anteaters on Sunday in Fullerton at 5 p.m.
