STANFORD, Calif. - No. 4 California came away with a 0-0 tie against Brown University after 120 minutes of scoreless action at the Stanford Nike Invitational. The Golden Bears move to 6-0-1, while Brown's record now stands at 3-2-1.

Cal out-shot Brown 13-6, with senior forward Carl Acosta accounting for six. Cal's Eric Kronberg came up with two saves to preserve the tie and earn his third shutout of the season. Brown's Chris Gomez made seven saves to keep Brown in the game.

The Bears next face No. 3 Santa Clara on Sunday at 7 p.m. at Santa Clara's Buck Shaw Stadium.
