SACRAMENTO - A second day of heavy rains shut down the remainder of action at the Captial Classic, including the Bears' Sunday 9 a.m. matchup with Illinois.

Cal's Saturday games against BYU and Iowa were also cancelled due to precipitation.

The Bears resume action Wednesday against Pacific in a 1 p.m. game at Levine-Fricke Field in Berkeley.
